Seasonal School Speaker Spotlight

We are delighted to welcome George Abulashvili, Director of EECG, as a speaker at our Seasonal School.
With over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Abulashvili has worked extensively on energy efficiency, renewable energy investments, and climate change mitigation. He has advised Energy Charter member countries, served as a consultant to the Georgian Parliament, and coordinated major policy initiatives at national and municipal levels.
His professional background includes collaboration with leading international organizations and IFIs such as EU, USAID, World Bank, EBRD, NEFCO, UNDP, and IFC, as well as hands-on expertise in market analysis and investment planning for industrial and building sectors.
Mr. Abulashvili has been directly involved in shaping Georgia’s energy and climate policy framework, including national action plans and key legislation related to energy efficiency and buildings.
His practical and policy-oriented insights will be a valuable asset to the Seasonal School.
